Q-Can you refinish an old finish on a classic car without replacing the veneer?
A-Yes! Many times the veneer does not need to be completely replaced. If it is possible to repair and refinish, we can restore the original veneer.
Q-What if I need or want new veneer?
A-Yes! We can do that too!
Q-Can you finish with a satin sheen?
A-Yes. Low sheen is available, ask for a sample!
Q-Can you work on commercial aircraft?
A-Yes. We work very closely with a FAA certified repair station that can document our work. If you need consumable samples, etc., just let us know prior to starting. I recommend Dave at www.centennialaircraft.com for upholstery and aircraft interior work.
Q-What is the normal turn around time?
A-Well...It really depends what is being done. A complete interior takes longer than a small repair. We will always give you a completion date when we have a start date set.
Q-What veneers are available?
A-Almost anything! Let me know what you like!
Q-Do you do upholstery?
A-No.
Q. Are you still doing piano refinishing?
A. Yes, but we're picky. Please contact me for more information and/or details.
Q. Do you do custom guitars?
A. No, I restore and do custom finishes only.
Q-Can you repair a scratch on a new (luxury car) console?
A-Yes. Most new cars that have a real wood interior can be repaired when they are damaged, with out complete refinishing in most cases.
Q. Do you do wood graining?
A. No.
Q. What would I have done in DiNoc?
A. DiNoc can replicate an original factory "faux" wood grain or vinyl wood grain. It can restore the original interior and dash parts to new. This is for any exterior "Woodie" wagon from the '50's, '60's or'70's.
Q. Can you do custom pieces in DiNoc?
A. Yes, it is very versatile. Email me with more info about your specific idea- Get creative!
Q. Is there any application for aircraft?
A. Yes. This product is an excellent choice for commercial and private aircraft that needs looks and durability. There are more than just wood grains, there are solid colors, patterns and metallics. Email us for more info about certification for commercial aircraft.
